Plane Ride!! The boys and I got to fly instead of driving, Thanks Boeing! It was great. |
The first week was great for the most part. We unpacked and went to dinner the first couple nights. Then on Thursday Brody got sick and started throwing up all night. He was fine the next morning, just a little tired as was mom. Then Friday, I got whatever Brody had and was sick Friday afternoon to Saturday. We were all fine Saturday and went out to dinner again since I was unable to get much done that week and we still didn't have much food. Sunday we went to church. We were invited to diner by a really nice couple with a couple other new families. Our ward is great and everyone was very friendly. Then that Monday Clayton had these bumps on him. Turns out that he had the chickenpox! We went to the Dr for Clay and Brody. Brody had an ear infection. For the next week we were on house arrest because Clay was contagious. Luckily it went rather quickly for him, which it should have. He has had the Chickenpox vaccine, and he has had a small case of the chickenpox already. Which is really weird and she took a sample to confirm that it was the chickenpox. But the lab confirmed it. So we hung out at the house. The kids both were fine so we played outside and rode our scooters. Then the kids got better and we went out!! It was Memorial Weekend and we did not get to do anything until Monday. But we went to a fun little beach with a river running into the ocean and played for a couple hours.
The boys are making their own river and diverting the water. It was fun, and there were a ton of sand dollars and clams all over the beach. Very fun to see them alive and in the water.
Brody hiking up the river, in the river. He loves to explore everything and everywhere.
Playing in the water is so much fun!!
Jumping on the trampoline with a sprinkler. This is where they spend 90% of their time. The hose is their favorite toy. We have now found a small pool, a baby pool and I got them little spray guns so they can fill the pool and play with the guns. They were running the hose all day and it was too much. But they love those as much and it entertains them. (which for a mom is all that counts)
